Even if 100 new people got votes and all voted Utley he'd still be short by quite a bit. I do think he gets in eventually but it'd be shocking if it happened this year imo

I just don't see Utley jumping 40 percent in one year. That'd have to be one of if not the biggest jump in one year. Especially with how many drops he had last year even if he overall went up.

Obviously Manny will fall off, I think Beltran gets in as he was super close last year, and I think the only 1st year guy sticking around will be Hamels. Jones might get in but I assume he will ge that final year bump in 2027 and it'll be him and Posey that year.

I actually fully agree with you on Rollins. As a Phillies fan I love him but if I had a ballot he wouldn't get my vote and I doubt he ever breaks even 40%. I really hope Posey gets in too first ballot I just find catchers super hard to predict and am very pessimistic when it comes to HOF voting.

I'm still pushing Beltran back to next year (I think he misses by less then 20 votes this year). Utley 2028 sounds right. 2029 at the latest. Votto I think takes a couple years though I also hope year 1 for him. Miggy and Greinke will unfortunately take some shine off him.

Oh I think they have chances to get in for sure I just don't think it'll happen within the next 2 years where it's a bit of a worry.
