In payment, I asked my hosts what's an original piece of art they might like. They insisted none needed. "Humor me," I replied. "Monster high dragon and mermaid couple." Okay: Cut paper, metallic and regular watercolor background. 3 days. Haven't cut paper since Middle school. Lots of fun.

Why yes...I am the Urse with the Purse. Superman bear was damaged during restoration with no butt tag and poor fur quality. So I made him into a zippered purse lined with himself rather than trashing. The 1990's called, they want their bag made of random things back.

I made a bathrobe for my Star Bear. I used a damaged hello kitty bathrobe to pull a pattern from that I purchased for 1.80. Badly sewn seams were unraveling. Repaired now.
Mine has hidden seams and hem stitching. Completely hand sewn. Because sometimes a machine shouldn't do all the stabbing.
