The quick play fractals ARE "reader's digest" in a way, with some mechanics removed to make them easier. Possibly lower health pools too but I'm not sure on that. Still the same start and endpoint and content in the middle though in terms of where you go and what you see

Normally a run of the three daily tier 4 fractals, plus the three recommended fractals (one of each in tiers 1-3) takes under an hour, usually around 45m. Some variance due to individual fractals being longer/shorter, some players with lower DPS, etc

It took me half an hour to beat the Add to Cart boss. Another half hour to beat the Shopping Cart boss. I've been stuck on the Payment Method boss for the last hour now, games brutal.

Not to mention the other algorithm benefits of views themselves - a smaller content creator trying to build a following who has their videos restreamed/reacted to gains nothing in followers, engagement, etc

Just guessing here, but it could be because it diverts views away from the original video, which is the only one that earns revenue. A similar thing happens when popular streamers react to someone else's YouTube video - at times, the reaction gets many times more views than the original
