Kiyoyasu Edogawa, second son of the late Shogun, and Tsubomi, the failure prototype.

Or... Ikki XENO and Yeyasu XENO! Based on the idea of Yeyasu being taken by the Netherarmy and Ikki being left behind to pick up the pieces.
Kiyoyasu Edogawa and Tsubomi, a pair of characters vaguely reminiscent of an age-swapped Suisen and Yeyasu from Disgaea 7. Kiyoyasu is a samurai man in his early 20s. He wears his kimono off-shoulder with only one sleeve over his arm, and around his neck is a pendant with the Edogawa crest on it. His hakama is green. His hair is dark brown, dyed dirty blond, and his eyes are brown. He wields a katana with a purple hilt. Tsubomi is a small android resembling a teenaged boy. He has large, pink eyes, soft pink hair styled in a messy short cut, and a headpiece reminiscent of a crown. His arms end in 'fingers' that are just sharp points, and are themselves hooked to resemble kimono sleeves. His obi is an electrical wire, and he wears a long, dark purple hakama. Kiyoyasu has a serious and tired expression, while Tsubomi has wide eyes and looks slightly anxious.

Yeyasu and Fuji from Disgaea 7. Both have bloody mouths, and are looking away from one another awkwardly, faces red. Fuji looks fare more disgruntled about the situation, as though annoyed to have strong feelings, while Yeyasu smiles through the mess of blood on his face. The blood is heavily implied to be a result of Fuji's Empathy Killer curse, which causes him to vomit blood whenever he expresses affection for another person.
