I have been repeating myself all weekend about this but it's something I care a lot about! For those of us who have been going to cons a long time (I started at AX 05 so I'm 20 years DEEP), we eventually all hit a metaphorical wall where we question if this thing we've been doing is worth it. (1/7)

Despite the drops the fake clay popsicles I made for the shoot survived very well. It was very hot that day! No way real popsicles would’ve made it. Shoutout to Moshi for being these definitely-not-twins manager, driver that day too

if you made art this year, you did well. a sketch, even if it was scrapped ; a poem, even if it was deleted — mattered. you put thought to paper, you engaged with the creative alchemy of turning feeling to something tangible. doesn't matter if you weren't productive "enough." or good "enough."

Patterned a circular multi-fabric pleated collar chunk today.
This is one pleat per color, so itll be two pattern pieces when I splice it and add seam allowance, then I’ll have to cut ~5 of each to match my neck circumference.
