One new sock done, no pattern, but I am trying a princess heel and sole. This is also why I made a sockblocker to open it, as the combination stockinette/ reverse stockinette curls madly.

What brings me joy, #showmeyourknits? The parlour cat by Elizabeth Kellner, resting in the window, and the insane colours in this swatch.

You want to see what is on my needles, #showmeyourknits? Wuthering Heights by Les Tricoteurs Volants, knit in KFO silk and Lillegull from Oslo Mikrospinneri. The other is a mix of patterns, self mixed in Rauma Finull, partly self dyed.

The oldest pullover I have made that I still have, strawberries and bunny rabbits, freehanded sometime just after 1980 in a mix of random and scrap yarn. For #showmeyourknits sweater week -25.

Stripes - skew socks by Lana Holden is a great pattern for selfstriping yarn. #showmeyourknits

#nordmedia2025, and somebody picked a lovely but super complicated song to represent Norway.

Scraps and left-overs, Milo hettegenser by Wenche Steffensen, Rumble Raglan by Lydia Morrow, and Frozen dress for little miss by Raimonda Bagdoniene, for #showmeyourknits.

For the shawl cue in #showmeyourknits, this is the latest Stephen West mkal, GoGo Dynamo, made in hand dyed silk. I wanted spring colours, and was a bit disappointed with the low contrast. Today I am on the verandah past 20.00, the sun is low and out place is in shadow, and the colours pop.

My first mystery knit along was a Stephen West mkal, Shawlography. #showmeyourknits
I had carefully picked other colours, but when the MKAL started I was in Copenhagen, so I ran out and bought some other colours as well as some mohair for effect and transparency.

Dear #showmeyourknits, since it is all about shawls today, here we go with the first: Fox on the run, by Mark Jamieson, in grey and burgundy Dale natural lanolin wool.

One year ago, when @livrunsfast.bsky.social started #showmeyourknits I was working on this shirt, Frost thread by Veera Välimäki, knit in rescue yarn from production

Help! I planted this years ago, but can't remember what it is. Planted at the cabin, and I don't see it in bloom, since I only get to visit for vacations. North West coast of Norway, shady and somewhat dry, the leaves are the size of my hand. #mysteryplant #plantidentification

I had started challenging myself a little before the pandemic, by wishing for the kit for this Duet vest by Hanne Falkenberg. I finished this during the first months of the pandemic, working through my stash and WIPs. #showmeyourknits 1 year!

Dear #showmeyourknits, today I want to show the Peacock feather shawl by Lyudmila Aksenik Old, knit in an onion yarn I found on clearance. The pandemic lock down had just started, I had knit two girl sweaters, and I decided to learn a new technique.

No, but I did this really interesting Duet vest by Hanne Falkenberg, and in blue to fit #showmeyourknits . Brain bender indeed!

I love blue, but I rarely use it alone. Still, I have some nice examples for #showmeyourknits: Geogradient by Stephen West, Beauxbaton capelet by Dana Williams-Johnson, Fortesse by Tasha Moss, and finally yesterday's blue views.

The fox on the run is done, and it is aiming for the forest. #showmeyourknits

This week in ##showmeyourknits I am still working on this insane shawl that is probably rather a shlanket, Fox on the run by Mark Jamieson, knit in red and grey natural lanolin wool from Dale Garn. Also the more moderate fantasy cardigan for a grandaughter in Rauma Finull.

The winter is half a year of anticipation for this.

We can live with many days of storm and darkness to see this.

Ok, today the que is garter stitch in #showmeyourknits. Growing up in the 60ies and 70ies, garter stitch is forever connected with incense, long hair and flat shoes, and I rarely want to back. But here is Dreambird by Nadita Swings, knit in Kauni 8/2.

Just finished my daughter's birthday present. She wanted a Christmas sweater, and I think I nailed it!
This is the Fabulously festive sweater by Lille Rille design, knit in Rauma 3-tråds strikkegarn.
