You know what I feel needs more love?
Dr. Sleep (2019)

Ewan McGregor is such a fun presence, and Rebecca Ferguson as Rose the Hat has got to be a horror movie all time villain.

Whispers mask the strife,
Calm waves hide the storm beneath,
Peace—a fragile dream.

Tasks wait on the shelf
Moments drift like autumn leaves
Tomorrow whisper

Seventeen small steps,
Dance of words upon the page,
Less is everything

Horizon on fire,
Rainbows bloom in fleeting arcs,
Daylight sighs farewell

“If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on the forehead or on the hand, they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury…” Revelation 14:9-11

Defense shields, war destroys;
One protects, the other deploys.
November 17, 2025 at 3:54 PM
Defense holds the line, firm and true,
War strikes outward, bold and new.
One guards life, one seeks control,
One saves the many, one risks the whole
November 17, 2025 at 3:45 PM
Defense stands, shield in hand,
Protecting home, guarding land.
War advances, fires ignite,
Seeking gain, not just the right

Silent deals broken,
Borders strain with unseen costs,
Chaos bears the toll
November 17, 2025 at 3:42 PM
Guidelines ignored, lost,
Innocents bear the fever,
Disease whispers on.
November 17, 2025 at 3:38 PM
Ignoring signs, the warnings clear,
A silent threat draws ever near.
Refusing shields for those too small,
Leaves them exposed, we risk it all.

Choices made from fear or pride,
Spread the storm we cannot hide.
A moment’s stubbornness, a lifetime’s cost,
Innocence lost, protection lost.

Beneath the gilded halls of power,
Shadows grow with every hour.
Faith dissolves, and hearts distrust,
The state crumbles into dust.
November 17, 2025 at 3:32 PM
Coins in hand, power sways,
Truth and honor fall to decay.
Promises crumble, faith turns thin,
The state weakens from the rot within
November 17, 2025 at 3:31 PM
Corruption seeps through marble halls,
Turning justice into shadowed walls.
Trust erodes, like sand in rain,
Institutions falter, citizens strain.
The state, once strong, now bends and breaks,
Its duty lost in greedy stakes.

Shook hands with someone who loves gold
Your soul slipped through his hands.
You sold your light,
Now you must keep the shadow.
November 17, 2025 at 1:59 AM
After you sold your soul...

You signed without reading,
You thought it a harmless game.
Now the night whispers your name,
and your heart answers
with no echoes of shame.

Born onto soil, yet not all free,
Is birthright a claim or should they be forced to flee?
Some inherit doors, some knock in vain,
Right or privilege—who can explain?
November 17, 2025 at 1:49 AM
Careless whispers twist in shadowed streams,
Real truth dissolves in fractured dreams.
Bias lingers, veiled and sly
Deception spreads, while reason dies
Social bonds unravel, torn
Harmed by lies we've all been shown.
November 17, 2025 at 1:45 AM
Is persuasion without truth ethical?

If the lie produces a positive outcome (e.g., saving a life by misleading a would-be attacker), some argue it could be justified.

However, if it harms trust, manipulates someone for selfish gain, or has long-term negative effects, it’s usually unethical.

That’s a lot of programs, agencies and systems. Reclaiming “normal” won’t be instantaneous. Here’s a guide to what reopening looks like:
You can end a shutdown overnight — but you can’t reopen a government that fast
The longest government shutdown in U.S. history is over — on paper, at least. But the American public isn’t done with it yet: Getting everything back up and running doesn’t happen all at once.…

Protesting Frogs

Frogs gathered loud along the marshy line,
Tiny signs raised high with a righteous shine.
Croaks turned chants for the world to hear—
“Protect our ponds, keep waters clear!”

In moonlit rows they made their stand,
Defending every drop of their shrinking land.
November 17, 2025 at 1:27 AM
The turbines sigh in silent rows,
Their once-bright promise fading slow.
Panels dim where sunlight bled
A future green now cold and dead.

Hope flickers out in ashen gray,
As progress dies and slips away.
