I was doing good for a couple days, but had the fleeting thought that I needed to call my mom earlier today.I hadn’t talked to her in a few days. I didn’t have anything pressing to share—just a phone call. But reality settled in and I’ve been in bed since ~8 pm crying. So that’s how my day went.

Sunday morning with my baby. A good cup of coffee, all our errands done yesterday, and he’s getting to test our new record player with a new record I bought for him last week.

Ugh fuck. I was going so good the last day or two. But now I’m in the airport crying like a weirdo. I was ok until I saw the shops and my first instinct was to cruise through to see if there was anything my mom would like.

Do any of you have a Boox Palma? Husband got me one for Christmas and I need a case or at least a screen protector. I’m scared the screen will get destroyed when I throw it in my purse. If you have one—let me know what you got & if you like it.

My mom died unexpectedly Christmas Eve morning. This has been the hardest and most painful thing I’ve experienced in my life. Attached is my favorite photo of her with my dad (from my wedding 20 yrs ago) and her formal obit.

I shop all year for Christmas gifts. If I see something I think you’d love, I pick it up.

However, I regret my life choices when it gets to December and I realize I have to wrap a years worth of gifts (and sometimes remember who I bought it for!)

Buuuuut, listening to it today I keep texting my Tori girls and saying “OMG this Pandora! …..Ruby!?! ……Lady in Blue!!” I’m so sorry I judged before I listened. I should know better.
