The documentary mentioned in the start of the article. I remember sobbing when we watched it. So beautiful and powerful. A must watch for everyone. I was really rooting for it to win the Oscar that year (no offense to the lovely little octopus that won).

After seeing Green Day on the FireAid stream the other day, I was inspired to go back and listen to Broadway cast recording of American Idiot. We were lucky enough to see it with Billie Joe (and then two more times in touring productions). After the show, we watched stage door from afar... 1/2

1989. Our parents went to the movies, tried to lie to us about what they saw, finally admitted it was Batman, then tried to say it was to make sure it was okay for us kids. They never took us to see it. Saw it on 35mm at Music Box tonight with my brother. Take that, mom & dad.

I wasn't "known" for anything, but had a tiny moment. Instagram pics of my dogs were featured on a NBA on TNT broadcast and my phone blew up with folks tweeting "hey just saw you on TV" because I have the same name on every site. But it was cool to see Barkley & Shaq debate chihuahuas.

Our little old lady passed away last night. We are heartbroken and holding her brother Zero extra close. It was an honor to be her Mom for almost 15 years. She came to me in my first month of widowhood and literally pulled me out of the darkness by her leash. We loved each other so much. 💔

Today was the first annual made up new holiday, national horror movie day. We celebrated by watching one episode of a horror show, then falling asleep on the couch at 9pm. Am I supposed to add #adulting or is that not a thing here?
