As someone who’s dealt with severe body image issues and dysmorphia for most of my 45 years on this planet, if you remember one thing going into your New Year’s fitness goals, remember this:

Exercise is a celebration of what your body can do, not a punishment for what you ate.

This aged quite well for McCarthy… and quite poorly for Gaetz.
