I have actively just smashed my thumb between two frozen solid ice packs. I did not react immediately, my boss walked by and THEN my brain finally registered it. He kinda just stared at me sobs.

I have-- extremely bad news. Lucy is gone. They said she was getting better. She got worse. Now shes- gone. My cat has died.
