The day the flesh shapes, and the flesh the day shapes.

I wrote this script in March. I've been wanting to make it a video all year. It's finally here.

I love how both final acts open with episodes centred around Ekko: the only character who had it right from the beginning.

He is the beginning of the end, the promise of change, the herald of hope.

He is the boy saviour.

[ARCANE SPOILERS]

What name did Ekko write?

Jinx? Powder?

It doesn't matter. You can't separate the two. She was who she was till the very end. We don't get to choose.

She was the antithesis of Viktor's glorious evolution. She was humanity incarnate in all of our contradictory glory.

Thinking about how the form that Viktor's spirit takes includes his old hair style.

Because that's how he feels travelling the cosmos of souls. He is allowed to be a scientist again, an explorer, without the burden of being a saviour.

He finds solace and solitude within others.

"You have Jinx to thank for this. She is not your champion. She hides while you suffer. Yet you refuse to hand her over."

Yeah. I see it, Arcane.

"Because you weakened me. I couldn't endure the look in your eyes whenever I made the decisions—the necessary decisions to keep us safe."

I think it's oaky to acknowledge that Vander was meant to be wrong.

He gave up because of his saviour complex. Those who died on the bridge gave their lives willingly, but he could not bear that guilt.

It was selfishness masquerading as selflessness. He even fooled himself. He chose complacency.

Ekko defeats Jinx by anticipating her attacks that have remained unchanged since they play-fought as children. He acknowledges Powder and Jinx as one in the same.

It contrasts with Vi's fatal flaw:

She morally compartmentalises and labels people: Vander, Silco, Caitlyn, & Jinx.

Andor finale after credits:

The camera follows a woman walking into a cantina. She sits at the counter and asks the bartender, "What's the local favourite?"

"Gin, or so I've been told."

The camera slowly turns around her, revealing that it's Felicity Jones.

"Say that again?"

The choir prays as Jinx and Vi destroy Janna's shrine.

The blue bird is no longer Janna. It is Jinx. The goddess was survival: a passive coping.

But like Ekko said, survival isn't enough. You need to live. Jinx takes a pro-active, radical stance.

She is a new goddess.
