Tonight's pass of the Chinese space station will will come within one degree of Mars, which could be fun to see :-), clouds permitting.
The Tiangong Space Station may be visible tonight as it passes over the Bay Area! It will rise in the west at 9:04pm, reach an elevation of 75° at 9:10pm, and enter shadow 1° above the eastern horizon at 9:15pm. Forecast calls for clear skies.

The ISS bot is back! Each morning, I post if the International Space Station (or other interesting spacecraft) will be visible above San Francisco that night. Right now, the list of "interesting spacecraft" includes Tiangong (the Chinese space station), and ACS3 (NASA's solar sail demo)
