I support everyone’s right to organise. If influencers create value and want better working conditions and can create pressure through strikes or picketing, then they probably should.

I think I just go by previous knowledge and experience: if something doesn’t match with what I already know (whether true knowledge or not), then I question a lot more. This does require a rather broad pre-existing knowledge base however.

Fin og nødvendig tråd. Man kan også peke på hvor ensidig denne "vi kan ikke snakke om dette nå"-retorikken er. Vi ser den fx aldri når strengere innvandring bringes opp i kjølvannet av et gjengoppgjør, eller nå - når tragedien på Klepp skamløst brukes av politikere som vil ha permanent bevæpning

I always simplify it as populism is popular, oversimplified, and unworkable/physically impossible answers to complex problems. It's promising what people want to hear, while one should know the promise is unrealistic.

Is it actually necessary to be hostile to the establishment?

I dunno. Don't remember there being so much constant hate and anger back in the 90s.
