I watched this whole thing happen w Bush! Hard to overstate the cult of personality around him! How brilliant and tough and wise he was! He turned out to be an incompetent disaster. But there was no moment of epiphany,no “wow we got that wrong” just a hard pivot (for most) into Donald Trump God King

The GEO group owns a lot of ICE detention centers and is a big part of this problem. We need to figure out how to bring this fight to them.

I think that theory might be wrong though. I think it may be a comfort issue. But, like, if you can do a town hall with 20 people, you can do an instagram live with 200. If you can do a stump speech, you can do a video essay. The skills aren’t that different, but they do need to be developed.
