TV, but this is regularly sung around our house. Way better than any of the actual boy band songs my friends in high school loved then and still love today. youtu.be/rPIt52BwTak?...

Me, too! It occasionally pops into my head and stays lodged there for a few weeks at a time.

I hate how the option to clear history and cookies is all or nothing. I needed to clear cookies once and lost all my tabs in the process.

The stairs at our house aren’t even as bad as some Dutch stairs I’ve seen. My father in law still managed to slip on them their first night at our house and broke his foot. 🤦‍♀️

The follow-up was… expected. She talked to him about it, he agreed to stop, she waited in her daughter’s room in place of her daughter, he did it again, she’s getting divorced.

Not always- often not as much flavor. Same with the European version of things like Oreos and M&Ms. Similar, but… off. When my MIL comes to visit, we sometimes get the European versions of things so she can taste the differences.

Yeah, I’ve been noticing the versions of American groceries found in expat shops here in Europe are often made in Canada or made in the US but the packaging specifies “for export only.” They’re generally close but not always quite the same flavor.

They’d recently lost their house after he lost his job. If I remember right, they were underwater on their mortgage and were foreclosed on. So they moved their family in with her parents. She was so stressed I thought she was going to cry. I still think of her and wonder if she ever left him.

He wouldn’t apply anywhere “beneath him.” She begged him, “go get a job! Apply to McDonalds! Anything! It doesn’t have to be permanent.” He was home all day, every day. But did no chores- no cleaning, laundry or cooking. Meanwhile she was working full time, still having to come home to do everything

When I worked as a grocery store cashier in the 2012-13 winter, I had a woman come through my line who just unloaded her whole story when I asked “how are you today?” Her husband had been laid off over a year before and he still wasn’t working. He wasn’t getting interviews to jobs he applied for.

I’ve found the same on that site! It’s where my favorite pancake recipe is from and it has like 3 stars but overwhelmingly good reviews. It’s almost as infuriating as the people who give 5 star reviews to a recipe they haven’t made, with comments like, “omg! It looks so yummy!! Can’t wait to try it”

I’ve been occasionally going back to Twitter to check my Following list and then looking for them here to see if they’ve finally migrated.

I must be endlessly ovulating. Or it’s summer and I have a very furry, double coated dog. Either, or.
