Though I wonder if it’s just me, but damn movie theatres are so loud these days I feel I need earplugs lol. The theatre I was in had it so loud it was almost unbearable at times - but then again I’ve in recent years been much more sensitive to auditory sensory overload.

Overall it’s a somewhat weak conclusion to the original musical, but the original musical’s 2nd act is also generally weaker than the first, and tries to weave in a lot more narratives from the original Oz story.

I did enjoy myself though!

Bought a pair of earplugs for like, a dollar, and it works well but I wish they gave a case for it. Also got a bonnet to tame my hair while sleeping, some socks, some shorts, some tank tops, some underwear… and a bead bracelet for ‘protection’
