The water behind swirls in shimmering patterns. A picture taken from the floor of a hospital room. In the foreground, a person lies on the floor. Behind its head, their spinal cord, brain and eyes tumble outside, appearing to slither like a snake. In the far distance, way behind the mountains, a face that is too large to comprehend looks back at you, eyes wide open. A large 747 aircraft flies low close to a runway on a foggy day. The plane is completely dilapidated, with a missing cockpit area, several large holes in the fuselage and destroyed motors. It is surrounded by a coat of black smoke.

The aurora boralis from our yard last night.
A redish-pink sky to the right that turns to green to the left. Lots of stars poke through silver or blue. Trees are silhouettes all throughout and a few barns are visible. One tree log casts a long shadow across the ground between the camera and buildings. A photo taken pointing directly up. The sky is mostly a redish-pink hue. Bottom left has a hint of green in it. There are greenish streaks stretch left to right all throughout. Some purple strips can be seen if you look close. The stars are poking through in colors of silver, blue, and purple. A firm tree-lined is present where u can see the deep green of the leaves. The sky is red with some purple hues. Towards the center starting at top left to bottom right is very prominent green stripes. More stars that are silver and blue. You can see the lights of a nearby town off in the distance. A few tree silhouettes and open fields. The sky is red, purple, yellow, green and blue. They streak up n down like the stereotypical photos of the aurora boralis. There aren't many silver or blue stars in this photo.

Further north of Stag's Run, some communities of daurics were known to pass a portion of the winter via hibernation.
A nest of blankets and pillows contains a dozen or so rodent-like anthro people, all snoozing in a pile. One of them sits up and checks their watch blearily

Automatons by no means needed to be ornamental, but artisans of the deep woods didn't tend to understand concepts like "too much."
