It’s been many days since I’ve gone out. The weather in Bangkok is nice but there’s haze.

Went out to lunch with my wife to the Man Ho Bistro at the Erawan plaza. It was very good but different from the Man Ho at JW Marriott, and better in many ways. Very friendly staff. Would recommend.

I came to see my ENT doctor for a cough and next thing I know is they found I have pneumonia, though it’s not that bad yet. Pulmonologist said due to my age he wants to admit me. Bummer.

My wife doesn’t like regular pressure cookers, so I convinced her to use an Instant Pot to make tadka mixed dal. It took about 30 minutes to make including sauté and pressure release. No muss no fuss
