It’s not about drugs. If it was, Trump wouldn’t have pardoned one of the largest narco traffickers in the world last month.

It’s about oil and regime change.

And they need a trial now to pretend that it isn’t. Especially to distract from his sinking under Epstein and skyrocketing healthcare costs.

Tunisia-Mali in #AFCON2025 entertaining for all the wrong reasons. Ugh what slog. Ref irritated me all match for not letting it flow but hindsight says he got it right between two squads that have inexplicably made it to the knockouts. Mali heroic down to 10 men for 90 minutes. PK shootout crazy

Tunisia and Mali have been uninspiring during this AFCON. Someone get Janny Sikazwe out of retirement to ref the match again 😆😆😆

Ivory Coast - Cameroon! Wild game and it’s all fun football back and forth, bypassing the midfield, just swinging at each other

Didn’t have Mozambique dominating on my bingo card this match #AFCON #GABMOZ

Gabon and Mozambique playing some smooth football in the middle of the park. Needs the key passes in the game to get into their final thirds

Uganda and Tanzania bringing some excitement in this match. Not traditional powers in African football. East African football up and coming

Ten more minutes in Senegal-DR Congo. Teranga Lions have reacted well after the DR Congo goal

Congratulations to Benin. Tournament firsts are what it’s all about. Into the knockouts possible
Benin record their first-ever victory at the Africa Cup of Nations... at the 15th attempt.

The 2019 quarter-finalists beat Botswana thanks to Yohan Roche’s first-half effort.

Botswana are winless at AFCON themselves, with this being the second time they have participated.

The Caretaker - An Empty Bliss Beyond This World

One of my favorite ambient albums to let my mind get lost in. It feels like a fuzzy and distant radio transmission from across eras stretching back to the 1920s.

DJ Rashad - Double Cup

The classic album of Chicago footwork. Always gets me moving and dancing.

Grateful Dead: Enjoying the Ride: Oakland

Another show from the boxset since it’s Friday. 1989 but getting closer to the post-1990 shows that I know less and less about. That’ll be fun

I decided to start doing a four mile walk every day when Kaely and I got back from a trip to Hawaii earlier this year. I didn’t like the way I felt and I didn’t feel healthy in my body.

180 days in a row later. It’s been a life-changing thing making this one choice and sticking to it

Grateful Dead: Dick’s Picks Vol 15

Pretty raucous show from ‘77. Perfect 1st set and one of the best Eyes of the World in the second set. From today 48 years ago. A great show to listen to if you’re just starting to listen to the GD

A personal milestone today 180 walks in a row
