i could be completely alone in the wilderness 100 kilometres from the nearest settlement, surviving entirely on eel and possum and an elderly person will still stumble out of the bush to flag me down and ask which bus will take them to the museum of contemporary art

It’s a very dark reflection on the state of Australian politics that Labor (including Albanese) seem more satisfied with defeating Bandt than Dutton.
