Brain drain + talented people no longer seeing the US as a destination. I know multiple tech founders who for their whole life dreamt of moving here and building a company or career. But in January 2025 decided to stay in Europe. That’s lost jobs, innovation, patents, technology advancement etc

As the trade war drags on and mostly hurts the US, I’m reminded of the February meeting with Zelensky where Trump yelled “you don’t have the cards!” Turns out Trump didn’t have the cards and trade wars aren’t “good and easy to win”. It’s always projection with these guys.

I worked at a cafe in St Paul in the early 90s. Wellstone came in frequently, he was always kind and friendly, to all the staff, all the other customers. Happy to chat with anyone what wanted. He was a great leader.

“Return to saturated fats”?! Heart disease is the number one cause of death in this country. This is the same administration that has cut antismoking programs.
