Is outsider synonymous with independent? I’m less confident in an outsider after what we’ve let into the White House again. Doesn’t mean they can’t do well or better than career politicians, & the reverse is true too.

I’d be careful with using terms like political outsider. We see what it can get us. We don’t need people who have no experience or understanding of the existing system, but rather those who get what it is while still being willing to work to reengineer it in the vision they have.

That’s what they want us to think! Massive wealth extraction machines that are just as normal as the bungalow they replaced!

Maybe entering into a lull is actually good for municipalities to get their shit together with some breathing room. Lots of crying & whining happen in the beginning compared with the demand initially.
We overestimate the short term effects & underestimate the long term impacts!
