I audibly gasped at the end. Like I was sooo not expecting that! If you like Modglin’s writing style check out The Mother-In-Law. That book shook me to my core.

I haven’t read The Bitter House, but I read The Mother-In-Law by Modglin a while back and it was such a great thriller. Highly recommend!
