To be fair, you’re not. Most machines in the world are using NAT translated IPs. There are not enough IP addys in the world for every machine. You’d be hitting NAT servers a large percentage of the time.

Absolutely. This is definitely something that is 40 years in the making, since the 1979 Roger Ailes memo discussed the strategy of getting right wing / oligarchical propaganda on the air. Social media only picked up the football and ran with it.

Somehow, we have to have to figure out how to make critical thinking “cool” to those who would otherwise discard it at least or shun it at worst.
