A domestic apple tree, growing wild on a golf course above Epsom. It obviously hasn’t been pruned for a long time, and so produces an enormous quantity of very small, sweet fruit

Acorns of the Pedunculate oak tree, Quercus robur. The penduncular acorns have long “peduncles” (or stems) on each cup, whereas the acorns of the other oak you typically find in England, the Sessile oak tree, Quercus petraea, attach directly to the stalk
