I'm leaving my twitter account existing. but I'm not supporting the products of an owner whose actions on the global stage are slightly concerning to me. He's bought his way into power in the USA. That's worrying, what will he do with it?

I'm here today because I saw in Guardian online they're abandoning Twitter, and apparently not replacing it with anything else, they want people on their website.

I've never heard of Alt Text. Will I be horrified if I google it and find out it has several meanings? Or is it literally a website coding thing?

I find the inconsistency as to what is or isn't a hate crime and what generates police responses and what doesn't very worrying.

None of which translates to anyone wanting trans people to go away and die, it translates into wanting trans people to build their own spaces rather than pushing women out of theirs, including offers of help with the construction. The ideology is it's own worst enemy.

The vast majority of gender critical people I know are really worried that these individuals are being encouraged to take irreversible steps based on promises known to be falsehoods and societal terms the ideology is misogynistically regressive

A lot of the individuals who want tolerance for them, but can't cope with anyone thinking differently do seem to be part of the Venn Diagram of autistic spectrum. I fear a public health scandal in a few years, where autistic kids have been failed with the promise of trans solving their problems.
