When Addison goes to leave with the aliens, he shows up with a bag packed and says, “I’m coming with you! :)” and she says: “omg really??” implying the option never ever crossed her mind . He has ALWAYS been an optional afterthought for her . Zed LEAVE HER !!!! SHE DOESNT WANT YOU !!!!

She takes every opportunity to tell him “I’VE felt like an outsider my WHOLE life Zed” because she has white hair (which for 90% of her life no one in her upper class town knew about since she hid it) — and she says this to Zed (a zombie) (living in an allegorically poor and segregated neighborhood)

Her love for Zed is completely conditional. She outright says if he doesn’t get into the college she’s going to, she won’t stay with him. Every time there is an opportunity to leave him, she takes it without a second thought. He offers to DIE for her and she goes “omggg :( but okay”
