I keep playing a time trial on Wario Stadium figuring out better ways to do this. And also trying to practice at connecting to the wall better because it is easy to mess up.

I recommend playing the arcade game, Vs Super Mario Bros. Some of its stages are used in Super Mario Bros. Lost Levels.

Playing it now, Japan's Super Mario Bros. 2 is actually fun and not that hard. Probably because playing the arcade version of Super Mario Bros. is like training for it.

First NES game, but for me it was probably Pac-man in the arcade. If we are talking home consoles, then it'd be Pac-man for Atari 2600. Not a great, but I also had Chopper Command by Activision which was a fun game. Still is today.
