Really impressed with your shading! It's a technique I might try out when I can paint again in the spring. I've mostly stuck to sharp/clean paint jobs, but I'm getting more and more enamored by shading and the effects it can bring.

I do have to say I really, really like the FatCat’s hands better for the God/Burning Finger - that bright clear orange looks so much better than Bandai’s injection gold.
I also do have the actual RG God expansion set… somewhere in storage, so gonna pass a direct comparison there for now.

Not a bad idea, just I guess be absolutely sure where you want them

Yeah, you can tell that Ryukishi07 is bringing his specialties with story loops and VN-style narratives and really makes it work well. Lots of questions and slowly revealing the secrets.
Thinking I’ll speed run the UFO ending because with the UFO sword and Sacred Sword you’re basically set.

I also forgot to take a pic of the chest opening to show off the energy converter with the King of Hearts crest in the middle. It's always been a gimmick I've never quite gotten right on the original when I built it first because it always pushes the neck joint out. Probably user error, though.

The chest is also very cool on this - it's got a lack of white aside from the shoulder vulcans that makes it stand out some from other Gundams. The hidden cannons inside the folding armor flaps is nice too.
One of the only things I'm worried is how well the Core Lander will hold in larger scale.

I'd also forgotten the side skirting armor is actually hooked into the rear skirting armor on the God Gundam. It holds rather nicely though, and gives a little extra flexibility.
The front and rear are also locked in with covering armor pieces, so almost no chance of them popping off.

Also not something easy to show on the image alone, but there's a neat little recessing gimmick in the rear thigh armor, when you bend the leg it slides inward slightly to give you just that little bit extra crunch in the bend.
It's very subtle, but you notice it when bending.

Made a lot of progress the last two days! The legs are as good as I remember, and the ankle armor stabilizes the ball joints in a way I forgot a bit about - they were a little wobbly on the frame by itself.
Lots of nice little panel line notches, and the opening calf armor is super cool!
