OK, you want to play WFB? Start with painting 200 figures, many of which are middle or back rankers and nobody really sees. Huge time sink to play, big expense to play.

Bernie did more rallies and public appearances to get Hillary elected than Hillary did, and still get's blamed for her losing against a clownish conman that she boosted to be the Republican candidate.

Given lead times it would be for releases in Q4 2026 at the earliest, or possibly a skirmish successor to Warcry in 27/28.

Lots of the late 90s/early 2000s competitors to GW are still around, they're just very small and niche.

We're getting to chubby squirrel season, looking forward to seeing some absolute units.

Are the bases included? They add a nice sense of scale.

Walz said during the campaign that Israel needed to expand it's borders. Maybe he just meant Gaza and the West Bank, but there are Israelis who claim Kuwait is theirs, let alone the countries in between.

One has the support of the press and the elite and the other doesn't. So one get's in the papers and the other doesn't.

They only went OOP 13 years ago, what are you talking about? People still play them.

Didn't launch with space marines, a lot of it launched during a global pandemic, by the time they did launch marines and Eldar they'd already internally taken the decision to cancel it. Also they never got the points balance right and it meant games weren't well balanced.

I think to get a better and more interesting result it'll need to be trained on more people's work.
Have you identified some writers who's work you want it to copy, mix up a bit, and serve back to you?

Yeah how could the Dems put him forward when every attack ad could just be pictures of the multiple stab wounds in the back of that womans head that he said were self inflicted.
People don't generally killing themselves by stabbing themselves in the back of the head and back twenty times.

The difference is that you are doing a community licence. Which is still a licence so you have some sort of relationship or approval process.
It's not someone going 'I like that IP, I'm going to create a business around it. Licensing? Royalties? Not for me!' then being surprised they get a C&D.

I think the usual suspects also said that a contract coming to an end with a Ukranian company was definite evidence that GW were in cahoots with Putin, despite Russia not being a market GW sell to anymore due to sanctions.

I think the sculpts have aged ok as one piece plastics, though I got some Medbury to add variety.

But my passion was using GW trademarks. 😢

To be fair their answer is always going to be 'be more racist' because it's a lot easier than trying to fix the countries problems, many of which are quite lucrative for their mates.

Their dream voter base is the guy who keeps complaining about forrins and how the wife turned the kids against him. It's never building a coalition of the working class, because they're only interested in sucking up to the right wing press and their racist caricature of the working class.

Yeah logically you'd be better off either not getting involved in Petersen games at all and certainly not having an approach to manufacturing and logistics in boardgames that is 'well it can't be that hard'. If you want the Petersen games IPs or whatever buy them in a firesale, don't take on a mess.

The Wraithbone stuff also isn't really a change, they've just made something more explicit, but it was portrayed differently in a licensed computer game 20 years ago so the usual suspects are saying it's a world ending crisis.

Looking at it it's definitely push fit and snap out of the frame.
