I'm not a military guy, but for those that are career service members, when do they start asking themselves what "all enemies, foreign and domestic" really means? When does this soul searching for a definition begin? It's never too early.
Mark Gronowski is #100 in all of Division 1 for pass completions. It's easy to keep getting beat when your opponent knows you can't throw the ball. Can Iowa please recruit someone who can throw the ball, like all of their opponents? Or at least put another RB in at QB?

When a practice field goal attempt falls comically short, give it another go, right? What's the worst that can happen?

If Iowa wants to pay me a half million bucks to make better decisions than #Ferentz, my phone is waiting. The best time for him to retire was ten years ago. The next best is now.

Maybe instead of funding the government, we just start over? The constitution clearly has issues. Time for a convention.

Does Hegseth think that grooming and weight standards will improve the performance of three and four star generals and admirals? Here I thought they were chosen for their leadership, organization and strategy. I guess they are chosen by who can best run towards (or away) from the enemy.

Not unrelated to the current events, "Don't tell me what you believe. Show me how you treat other people, and I'll tell you what you believe." - James Talarico.

We're approaching an intellectual crisis. The best mathematicians, scientists, artists and explorers were successful and are remembered for their contributions advancing ideas. Now you can't speak your mind, travel across lands, practice your religion, read any books, without someone threatening you.

People who intentionally involve themselves with unlike-minded people, tend to have open minds, and have an appreciation that grows for the differences that makes humankind so important. Those close-minded, often only gather with like-minded, and think everyone unlike them is the problem.

As a friend once told me (paraphrased), "The purpose of a having a business is to employ people and do what you want. The bonus is the profit, not the point". People forget that profit has only been a corporate mandate since 1970 or later. Businesses should be shamed for any profits from cut jobs.

A leopard trainer, training their leopards to eat faces, got their face eaten. I can't be sympathetic.

I think a good indicating trait of a kind, reasonable, creative person is the ability to listen. To look with care at the person speaking, to listen, to consider their words, and respond with a measured statement. Those unwilling to listen already have prepared their verdict regardless of your words

DT is the type of person who, despite the overwhelming evidence and belief that he is not entering the pearly gates, will pay an evangelical preacher to tell him he will. He will convince himself of this singular belief and hold onto it until his last breath, giving himself comfort.

I have to publicly admit I have now seen #F1themovie in the theaters three times, twice in IMAX. I've only seen one or two movies twice in the theaters. It's not perfect, but it's an incredible big screen show that needs the sound. I don't think Joseph Kosinski is getting the recog he deserves.

The number one cause of crime is poverty. It has always been the case across millennia and the world. Research backs this up again and again. I want to eliminate crime as well. Best way to do that is to eliminate poverty. Otherwise you're just temporarily removing the symptoms, not the cause.

I've long believed that setting personal moral lines is a rare thing among humans, especially lately. It's an important distinction to set in oneself. And since almost everyone operates under, "do what you want, justify it later" attitude, this is the government we now have. It's your own fault.

Citizens United was decided on the simple fact that 💲= free speech. If universities, states, museums, etc. are changing their policies because they are afraid of losing their funding, then money does not equal free speech, but the control of speech. Can some attorney please get on this?

All these 'trade deals' is just Trump promising you (and people of the other countries) will pay more for stuff than you did a year ago. Look up tariffs yourself. Most have been - for decades - less than 5%. Now everything is 15%+. Everyone loses when tariffs are artificially increased.

My #epstein prediction is that the "list" will be released in a few weeks or months. It'll either be heavily redacted or modified in a way it can't be trusted. Trump's name won't be found once. And after this regime is over, we'll get agents talking about how #Trump was redacted all over the list.

Yesterday’s announcement of the official call to action begins now. It is just after 6 am in California. We wait to see how many farmworkers join the #StrikeForDignity

They asked for just three days, “They will not fire you”. They can say this bc they know no one can do what they do.

Hey NBC, maybe your headline should have read "Geneva Protocol violations against 1st and 2nd amendment practitioners"
Feds offer $50,000 reward in apparent firing of gun at agents after clash with protesters
News helicopter footage shared by the U.S. attorney for the Central District of California shows what appears to be a man with a gun during a protest near Camarillo.

Nothing is more American than Mexican and Chinese restaurants. Built from a system of immigrants needing to feed themselves. I'm done with celebrating traditional Americana. Give me the arts and culture of our immigrants any day. That's the backbone of the real modern American culture.

If the people we elect only care about their billionaire donors and don't care about the actual harm that will come from their actions, why do we need them? What's the point? If we can't reform it, we need to end the American experiment. I guess 250 years is an expiration date. #revolution

Is there anything stopping Congress from writing bills funding the wish lists of red state Congress members and obliterating the expenditures from blue states? If they can buy enough votes from enough states, right? Because another state isn't their concern, right? Not their constituents.

I'm proud of the opportunities this country has provided to "poor, huddled masses" the last couple hundred years when they didn't have any other. This year for the 4th, my family will not be waving American flags or eating "American" food. We will be celebrating history and the culture of my wife.
