I have no real hope Congress would even know what they were talking about if someone proposed hearings for this. Cloudflare handles 20% of global internet traffic regularly, and we're only alerted to this when there's an outage and it disrupts our normal workflow. What would the solution be?

I am so sick of family dynasties just lining up to get their grifting bullshit job that won't make any positive difference to the people. Political appointments should be a job that people are randomly selected to do part-time for a year and then that's it. No more making lifelong careers out of it.
