The only thing that's going to stop Putin is the state of Russia's economy and it's ability to fund the war machine. A broken economy is the only way Russia will stop. It could be done, if the will in the west was there. I'm not sure it is there, if it was, we'd be on the home leg now.

You could get a cigarette paper between Lab/Con/Reform on immigration policy now. The public mood has changed significantly recently and the politicians are scrambling to catch up.

The politicians have finally caught up with the public mood. Lab/Con/Reform all scrambling to sound the "toughest" on immigration. Presumably why reform are doing so well in the polls. Cons failed, Lab failing, Reform have no record to defend therefore easier for them to go on the attack.
