It reminds you that it was somebody's game. I love it when there are old rental store stickers on them, or with famicom games - those end labels with the game title that came in a magazine kids would put on their cartridges since nintendo for some reason didn't have any text there

I grabbed a IIe with duo disk and monitor for like $80 several years ago. Never used one as a kid, but wow are these fascinating and fantastic computers. It doesn’t seem unreasonable to know how every part of it works.
