The Foundation should also give credit to the pioneers that date back to the Ware-Peters papers on vulnerabilities at the Apr 1967 IFIPS, multiple NSA IAD efforts, the ITU-T instantiations, and Bob Martin's leadership of CVE, CWE and multiple related platforms now looking for a home.

Try OSV instead. The new EUVD run by ENISA is also very good. Cybersecurity resources are now finding good refugee homes in Europe. :-)

Good to see Foundation attempted. However, the troubled history, lack of transparency and Washington State incorporation combined by better alternatives available make this a non-starter for any global buy-in. ETSI is developing a pointer mechanism to the available cybersecurity resources.

Good to see some movement here despite the challenges and unclarity where it fits into the ecosystem. The lack of corporate transparency, troubled past history, and U.S. location is a non-starter for the rest of the world which has largely moved on to other platforms and repositories.
