It’s only on NEW gas export contracts… there’s your answer. bsky.app/profile/mrre...
Gas reservation on new gas only🤦‍♂️! A 0% domestic reserve on massive amounts of existing gas and a 25% reserve on tiny amounts of new gas won’t do anything for electricity prices. A big win for the gas cartel. A massive loss for Aussies. #fail #auspol
Government announces domestic gas reservation scheme in bid to lower costs
Chris Bowen makes a long-anticipated announcement about reserving a portion of gas on the east coast for domestic use after a cabinet meeting.

Can’t upset the donors or lobbyists! Also, where do the profits go? #auspol

Perhaps it’s the success of the lobbyists and donors controlling the narrative. We don’t have to ask what they want, since nearly all the political classes appear to work for them. All we as voters can do is protest. #auspol

There remains no explanation of any kind as to how protests somehow directly led to two jihadists buying six rifles and murdering innocent civilians at a beach.

Australian media is so packed with angry racists that they won't ever ask for one

Steam powered subs are going to need a lot of coal and a big pair of snorkels for the air intake and exhaust.

000 used to be a priority with backup batteries powering the telephone exchanges using old PMG copper infrastructure. Enter the NBN with its inability to guarantee 99.99% uptime & it was decided they could live with a system which fails more often (most phones go down now when the power fails)

Should that be “meter’s” (short for “meter is”) or am I not seeing the distance spelling pun?

It’s not society that makes these decisions. It’s the ethically challenged privileged elite that we elect that make them without consulting us. It’s abhorrent.

It’s the best! Glacéd pear, peach, apricot, cherry, dates, sultanas, pineapple, almonds, cashews, brazil nuts. Pity it’s only available at this time of year and quickly snapped up at the supermarkets. 🎄

Is there a business or organisation with “Noble” in its name? (The 🍊 🧍‍♂️ wouldn’t notice the spelling error).
