An Australian-Canadian (Canadian-Australian?) writing crime fiction on the beach. With lots of swearing.

I'm guessing.

I write crime fiction. If I wanted to gum up the works, this is what I would do.

I truly hope I'm wrong and hundreds of House Republicans also vote yes.

Admittedly, I'm tired, but I read that as "Some of the best underwear action you'll ever see!" and I am *extremely* disappointed.

Two (at least) of the signers of the discharge petition will vote NO next week, stopping this in its tracks until after the Midterms.

She stays (stayed) on the petition, but she and Boebert vote NO to release next week, is my bet.

Buries the mess until after the Midterms.

And a horrible idea for the GOP.

"Of course it's crap. It's a first draft."

On the top right corner of my plotting whiteboard.

Also:

Make that thread RED and you can hang it in the Louvre.

(Until someone steals it.)

Bookmark this. She'll vote No next week.

So will Mace.

It won't pass because of those two.

And Speaker Mike will bury it until after the Midterms.

I didn't hear that hype (though, to be fair, I wasn't listening).

I'm interested in the number of drunk-driving arrests and the impact of ride-hailing services.
