If we all stopped buying anything that had a nestle logo, nestle would still make huge amounts of money from their other brands and keep being evil.

This is all true and I agree with all that. My point is that there's nothing we can do as consumers to punish manufacturers for doing bad things. Only enforced regulations have real impact and that's why they lobby hard to deregulate.

This is why boycotting product brands doesn't ever work. You can't realistically avoid sending money to all of their subsidiaries.
