Last year, I had the privilege of making my granddaughter’s custom wedding. I had made her mother’s and aunt’s as well. It took five months, but was a labor of love. #sew #sewsky #weddinggown #weddingdress

Here’s a sneak peek at the appliqué quilt I’m working on now. I finished basting it in preparation for the last of the quilting on the sashing and the large border/frame. Quilting is complete on the blocks. This has been a long term project, started a year and a half ago, with interruptions.

A friend whom I haven’t seen in 50 years asked me to make a quilt for her grandson, that she’s raised, who is ill and bedridden. I decided this was a good time to try making a quilt from a kit. His favorite color is purple. Mailed it off today. #quilt #menwhoquilt #quiltingmen #purplequilts
