London now has 20 hydrogen buses, and over 2,000 battery electric buses. In 2021, it had 20 hydrogen buses and under 500 electric buses. Hydrogen was thought to have been the only choice for 15% of (long) routes. Improvements in battery technology may prompt a review of that.

I worked with disabled adults in supported living. None of them would have been affected by the proposed changes, nor would any of the disabled people at the front of demonstrations. People I know who can work because of PIP would be fine.

And if we triple the amount of solar energy, we'll still get nothing at night, and next to nothing in winter when we need electricity most. But we'll grow less food unless we fill roof spaces first. Wind is improving, up to a quarter of capacity today. Nuclear is rock solid, but not enough.
