Did you see the Guardian piece about Mainoo? What with that and the Garnacho saga it make you wonder if the club sees any point in having an Academy. £200M plus on strikers, but with the midfield is running on empty what's the point?

The fire, commitment, and talent are just not there anymore, and that coupled with the ownership/financial structure of the club means that our return to the summit of club football is unlikely to happen in what is left of my lifetime. Sad but likely to be true.
