Can be for sure. A lot of it can be mental, trusting the repaired knee.

Some of Bentancur’s issue is that we have been playing him in a different role post injury. I doubt we see Madders become a defensive mid.

I think the summer inactivity was his last straw.

As for Spurs currently, we are defensively sound and difficult to score on, but also offensively inept. Things will improve, but it’ll take time.

8th is what I kinda predicted at the start, and I wouldn’t be too upset at it.

ACL he should be ok, but always a worry for reinjury. If it was Achilles, then I’d be more worried about future ability.

Even with a full squad, we have creative limitations made more limited by Frank’s preferred setup.

Always a possibility when new leadership takes over that they will completely clean out the old regime.

But, they’ve kept Lange and Paratici, so it doesn’t seem to be a clear out.

Buddy, we ain’t getting 4th. At least not with this lack of offense.

Traditionally, Frank has pretty garbage first seasons with his clubs. He was woeful in his first 8 games with Brentford. But, he normally gets the club on an upward trajectory soon thereafter.

But, Spurs are an impatient club. If we don’t see improvement by Jan, Fank is on the hot seat.

Speaking of, I’ve heard other people saying Mina is the fashion consultant responsible for Josh Naylor’s gem studded belt tonight.

Care to comment?

There are certain clubs who thrive with an attacking identity and others that thrive defensively. Hammers are the latter.

So are we looking at next season or the season after for the youngsters to be considered club trained?

Bentancur is a very good 8. Our lack of a 10 was bound to catch up to us eventually and showed up this match.

I couldn’t tell if City were just bad or we were that good defensively. Maybe a combo of each, because it felt very comfortable in the 2nd half.

Elated for how we’ve started the season. Fingers crossed some reserves are brought in.

It looks very much like our summer business is complete, barring a real surprise at the end.

Same depth issues as last season.

What is a reasonable table expectation? Europa qualification? Conf League?

Send to this person too.

Let’s get Micah and Myles on the same line.

I think a good result for all parties. Son would kill it in MLS. Frees up a spot with Spurs and some needed cash. He gets to go out a hero and captain instead of a sub.

“Yes. Thank you for tuning in”

Seems like it’s everywhere, was on the VFTL pods too.

Glad y’all are doing what you can

Rebuild timeline: infinite. 😕

Would have loved to see Ange get a shot at S3. Hopefully whoever else comes in can move us forward.
June 6, 2025 at 8:39 PM
He’s gonna go. And frankly, Sonny may go too.
June 6, 2025 at 3:59 PM
Good for Ange. He gets to walk out of here a hero that was able to accomplish something incredibly rare at the club.

No one will remember or care about 17th. Everyone will remember Champions in Europe.

As soon as things go bad for the next guy, it’s gonna turn extremely ugly with the fans.

Interesting advertising at least for the US audience. Some sort of pro Trump ad asking people to write in and urge congress to stop “frivolous” foreign investor lawsuits.

Guessing it’s not something y’all support or are aware of.
