The Debtwalkers are a band of oath breakers, atoning for past ills by doing dungeon rescue and escort jobs. They appeared in session 1, but I didn’t fully flesh them out at that time.

In the Devil, we might see consent’s opposites—addiction, bondage, feeling trapped. The Devil is a warning that if consent is neglected, even for reasons that seem good, the end result can be a trap. (Image: Wikipedia) 6/

The 3 of cups, and threes in general model dynamism. 3 of cups is my favorite here. In consent there are at least three—two consenting actors and change. Consent often needs revision in light of something (or someone) new! Consent is dynamic, and the threes are dynamic. (Wild Wood Tarot) 5/

In Strength, a clear power imbalance is transformed by the participation of the two players. The woman’s strength opens the lion's mouth without force. The lion foregoes the predatory instinct. This is my favorite card to represent consent. 2/

What Tarot card best represents consent? Consent almost certainly wasn’t on the minds of the creators of the Rider-Waite-Smith deck. Which means we need to dig a little deeper if we seek a card that stands for that concept. (image: Wikipedia) 1/
