I loathe humans. You wouldn't believe what their downpipes do to local water sources.

Do you really think that the other Republican senators have even a fraction of the self respect and conscience that she is displaying here and are persuadable to rise up against the orange shit-gibbon? Sorry, that's la la land.

You responded to my post, not the other way around. Not trying to teach just responding to your points. That's how Bluesky works. Do you need diagrams? Your aggressive responses speaks volumes for you.

That's not how politics work in this country. It's about getting your message out to a public that is largely indifferent to politics. Starmer was lucky at the last election, all he needed to do was not be the tories as they were on a mission of self destruction.

Did you miss the manifesto, it was widely available.

I loath and despise Farage and everything that Reform stand for but let's not forget that in the run up to the last election Starmer neatly dodged this trap by just not announcing any policies at all.

@dalevince.com please get together with @gjuk.bsky.social. You both have significant influence and together would make a formidable team, able to bring serious pressure upon the UK government to get this resolved. They promised us to get something done about energy costs. We're still waiting.

So... Robert seemed to be intimating in his original post that the arrests were at least partly driven by the fact that they were Quakers. My reading of the facts in the article seem to cast doubt on that in my mind. This is in no way a criticism of Robert who I have huge respect for.

Please correct me if I'd read this wrong.

While this is disturbing and I would wish to know more of the background of this story, my reading of it was that this was not a group of Quakers (i.e. Quakers had not been specifically targeted) but rather a group of people had hired a room in a Quaker owned building........

Look, he only raised his arm part way up, it's not a NAZI salute...

Only to be replaced by........ more Tories!

No, they'd still be the magnificent Liverpool FC but with the most hated owner in the world. Fans can differentiate.

Sure, it's the tax rises killing the economy. Nothing to do with cutting ourselves off from the huge market on our doorstep.

I get the point you're making but posting this screenshot with no context (where it came from etc.) makes it kind of meaningless.

The absolute state of this creature. Completely devoid of compassion or empathy. The closest to war that this bint has haver been is the struggle to get the last available hand basket at her local Waitrose. Is this what we've become as a nation. Proud to be British? Not if this is Britain's values.

👍 Happens to the best of us. I just wish the original poster, who is usually very reliable, took the time to fact check before posting. It is how disinformation takes control. God forbid that Bluesky goes the same way as TwitterX. The responsibility is on all of us to prevent this from happening.

What is it that makes you angry, the click bait Telegraph headline or what he actually said?

No he's not. Enough of the knee jerk reactions, that's for the other place. Read what he actually said. You should know better than ro rely on click bait Telegraph headlines....
