I know the country is on fire and it’s probably the end of the American experiment and whatnot, but did yall see Post Malone with Nirvana on the #SNL50 concert? I think I levitated there for a second.

Don’t talk about it, be about it.

Rest is resistance. Don’t let them wear you down.

Just your friendly, daily reminder that panic solves nothing. It puts you in a part of your brain that is incapable of executive level thinking. It cuts off your creativity. And it’s hard on your body. We have to find some measure of calm in this storm.

I’m going back to the 1970’s way of consuming news. We all tuned in together to the 6:00 news and it lasted a total of 30 minutes. Then we went on about our lives. No more 24/7 outrage. Our nervous systems weren’t built for this.

As tempting as it is to play-by-play the current US shitshow, I’m here to encourage us to simply look away from time to time. Notice the things in our world that are still good. Regulate your nervous system. It’s ok to take a break from the outrage.
