It's been a long time since I collected data directly, on site, without surveys or experiments. Forgot how tedious it can be. Looking forward to decent (nonfinancial) payoffs down the road.

I'm not particularly active on social media. When will the tide turn for that to become a feature again rather than a drawback in my profession? #academia

I avoided Twitter during much of the election cycle. I got off most social media. In fact, I spent the semester (since September) in Italy and haven't finalized my return trip yet.

It's been a while since I was active on Twitter, but I had years' worth of conversations and connections on that platform. I wonder how long it will take to rebuild my pseudo-professional media ecosystem here. Perhaps it will be better?
