Just a question. Was it a cost saving to not provide the tertiary delta winding have its own CT to earth and an associated low set instantaneous trip relay? It looks like it shares the CT on the neutral end of one phase and earth faults on the tertiary winding would trip the associated relay.

As per the Youtube notes: "This fix involved inserting wire brushes (dipped in copper-loaded grease) into the connection points between the HV insulators. This video shows the noise drop when one of these is inserted!"

Interesting you are looking at Ferroresonance on an Earth Switch. Assuming the circuit is de-energised before applying the earth ⚡😕 is there sufficient energy coupled from parallel lines to still cause an inductor in the circuit to go non-linear?
