I’m confused by the governor’s proposal. This already exists! When you register an electric vehicle in Oregon you can pay a large sum up front, or you can get a discount (the standard registration rate) and sign up for OReGo where you pay 2 cents per mile. www.oregon.gov/odot/orego/p...

They also don’t seem to have any issue drumming up the staff to go to PSU and protect transphobes and racists while bullying queer kids. Car drivers are too scary I guess.
