Yeah, I'm not gonna lie, I've heard some horror stories about other districts, so I'm glad I'm on a good one. Still not a great company to be working for, but I got a great store leader.

Well, in my district at least, we have VERY rigid standards, and I make damn certain my department adheres to those standards without question. We have frequent health walks to ensure the store follows those standards, and we do. Don't know what to say about your experience with the company.

Exactly. And even when we call them out for it in our meetings they just happily skip the question with a nice glossy non-answer. It's rather sickening.

Oh yeah, 💯. We are a multi billion dollar corporation and they can't even bother to make things affordable for the average person. The only reason I don't leave the company is because I can't afford to. And I make 27.11/hr

Ain't no lie there. I manage one of the delis in Colorado and I feel so badly for our customers who have to wait for reduction on items just to afford groceries. One of the idiots high up in the chain even admitted in court that Kroger is purposely raising the prices on basics higher than inflation

Yeah, it was sketchy from the start, right when they told us workers they planned on buying out Albertsons. I'm, personally, glad it failed. Means they don't get to close down 90 stores and cause thousands of us to lose our jobs. 😈
